As Wi-Fi spots are flourishing throughout the country and our digital lives are becoming an extension 24 / 7 of our existence, many manufacturers are venturing further into the world of fully functional ultra-portable laptops that can be used anywhere, stored anywhere and perform tasks that are required of them. This, of course, raises a number of challenges for manufacturers, weight, size, ease of use, Ergonomics … and how to meet all power requirements of the market in such a small chassis.

This ultra-mobile PC laptop is very well equipped for its price and offers all the standard amenities as its larger counterparts such as HP are 3 USB ports, a dual layer DVD burner, built in webcam and so on. Its weight makes it a little on the heavier side for an ultra-portable, but it is still quite manageable. The 12.1-Inch Screen is difficult to see if you're used to seeing more laptops all day, but it the advantage of being a convertible, meaning that the screen can be turned around and used like a tablet PC with ease.

Weighing just under 3 lbs, this ultra-portable is about as light as they come. Of course, this leads to a considerable decrease in performance, so do not expect to be very demanding running programs with this machine. Some strengths of this laptop are its ability to play DVDs without actually start Windows, double operation and SD memory stick readers, over a course of 5 hours and a sleek design in carbon fiber. Although not a performer or running monster, this machine will always keep you up and running when you are out of office.
As can be seen from these three examples, the ultra-portable laptops range in all directions in terms of functionality and capability. It is therefore very important to have good vision in mind what you want with your PC ultra-portable laptop before making your purchase. This will allow you to get all the features you need and avoid those that will just make your laptop heavier.
