Question on choosing a home theater system?
Well, so I recently bought a Samsung LN52B750 (pretty sweet TV) I'm connecting the HD cable next week and I am now looking to buy a home theater system. I'm deciding between energy Take Classic 5.1 and HD Klipsch 500 (5.1). I read a lot of comments and it seems that energy to make the Take Classic Klipsch. So I'll probably go with the Energy Take Classic. My question is that I'm looking for a receiver and am leaning towards a Yamaha RX-V765. Has anyone experience with this receiver or Yamaha in general …. I've never owned a receiver, so I'm fairly new to this question. Also, my TV is …. 240Hz do they do with the receivers 240Hz capabilities? I only saw 120Hz? Thank you all for your help! Steve
Receiver to consider is the Pioneer Elite and Onkyo, both are 7.1 system so that you might find a couple extra speaker rear surround. They do not really correspond to the rest of the system, but would be nice, I use a JBL loudspeaker mine. Go online for Home Theater Magazine and read reviews for both receiver and everything that might interest you. He is my source of information when Iam ready to buy audio and video for my house. The Pioneer Elite SC-07 (second top model) is now $ 1,500 $ 2,200 Best Buy. I hope this helps you in right direction.
