Scaling photos with Canon EOS 20D digital camera?
I try to take photos in a specific size ratio to increase the flow for cataloging sessions for our internet. Our visualization software inventory requires that the photos are uploaded in 640 x 480 pixels. We have an image resizer batch through Photoshop but it would be much better if we could take photos in that size. I can not find something about it being an option for the Canon EOS 20D. The minimum size is much larger (and different rates) that the size I need. Is anyone have any suggestions? Thank you you in advance Tyler
Unfortunately, there is no option for the 20D to be drawn from this low resolution. In addition, the sensor APS-C is a different aspect ratio and the camera was never designed to do anything type of crop or resize operations. The idea was no doubt that Photoshop and other applications do work much better with their algorithms for resizing the relatively thin on the processor 20D could manage, which is really designed as a device for image capture, not an editing image manipulation /. These features are found on lower quality than some digital cameras, however.
