Mac Powerbook

I just sold my beloved 17 iMac G4 PowerBook G4 for a used 1 GHz. What can I say, I have to work on the road, I looked like a If nuts make an iMac around with me everywhere. What I do not know is that the PowerBook I just bought has no SuperDrive. But I thought it would be ok, since I have a PC with DVD burner at home.
Until … I needed to open or burn a DMG file which resides in my PC but just could not do. The file simply unknown to Windows. Some have suggested renaming the extension to dmg. Iso and burn it using any PC burning software but I found that it did not work for me since my DVD player that I had to burn, it was a double-layer DVD. So I Googled around and I'm glad I did. And the solution is software called Transmac.
With Transmac for Windows, dmg file can be read and burn like a Mac using Disk Utility. Transmac allow you to mount dmg, then expand dmg burn to DVD, CD and DL DVD (before you burn you need to develop dmg compressed first). I must say that at first I did not think it would work at all. Do work not fair, but it is also very easy to use that more, it even works with Mac Bootable DVD like DVD of Leopard. You can download a trial version 15 days of Transmac here. After trying, I'm sure you want to buy. Transmac was certainly a great move for me in a long time. Note: I started this post just to tell people they can write CD / DVD from dmg image file on Windows PC and the best way to do this is to use software called Transmac.
