When it comes to the issue of food allergies, many of us think of young children and allergies to peanuts. After all, the reactions sometimes fatal to those with allergies to peanuts are institutions responsible for warnings on food, restaurants, and other May where we come into contact with peanuts or peanut residue. Delayed Food Allergies, Sensitivities IgG, or food may show reactive effects until several days later, so often the link between disease and food (s) used is not even made by the patient or perhaps even all physicians with whom they consult. It is shocking, 45-60% of the population suffers from food allergies late, many of them never be aware.
These delayed food reactions were associated with more than 100 different allergic symptoms and 150 different diseases medical. The mental health problems related to delayed food allergies include: ADHD, anxiety, autism, fatigue column (which may go beyond physical sensations and affect mental health as well), depression, dizziness (often associated with anxiety) hyperactivity, lethargy, PMS, tension, weight gain and weight loss (both tend to affect self-esteem).
So how exactly do these food allergies and reactions to contribute to mental health issues named above? Quite simply, studies have already shown a link between stress, inflammation and diseases. If you ever eat because of feelings of stress, your chances of developing inflammation and food allergies has increased. Which brings us to the effects on mental and physical health.
Food sensitivities are the most common: peanuts, cow's milk, eggs, sugar substitutes (aspartame, saccharin), soy, fish, shellfish and wheat. For most of us, many of these are foods we eat often. And with statistics as much as 60% of Americans have delayed food allergies, it is source of concern.
There are different ways to test for food allergies. You can ask your GP to be tested you can request a referral to an allergist, there are even home blood and saliva tests. They can cost several hundred dollars, but investment in your health is worth it, even if the insurance does not cover.
IgE Food Allergy Test
 • skin test. A skin test can determine your reaction to specific foods. In this test, small amounts of suspected foods are placed on the skin of your forearm or back. Your skin is then pricked with a needle to allow a tiny amount of the substance beneath the surface of your skin. If you are allergic to a particular substance being tested, you develop a bump or a reaction.
 • blood test or bloodspots A blood test can measure the response of your immune system to particular foods by assessing the amount of allergy antibody type in the blood, known as immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies. A blood sample is then sent to a medical laboratory, where different Food can be tested. IgG Food Allergy Test
 • ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) test analysis of IgG food Profile measures levels of IgG antibodies to commonly offending foods. It clearly identifies foods that may be the cause of health problems.
Other things you can do at home to reduce your food reactions are: exercise, take appropriate measures Supplements food, and avoid what you think or know are problematic for you. If you find that eliminating certain foods from your diet increases your well-being, it is quite possible that you are suffering from delayed food allergies!
Some people with supplements most common food allergies include use omega 3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) and probiotics. It's always a good idea to check with your doctor family before adding supplements to your diet, especially if you are on other medication, prescribed or not. There can be interactions and other effects that will end up just adding to your problem. Prevention is better than cure, as they say.
