White Macbook

Sleek lines

One of the design concepts of the most exciting Apple recently introduced is the monohull. This enclosure for the MacBook Air, Macbook Pro 15-Inch Macbook and the new.

The unibody begins its life as a single piece of aluminum. Using CNC (numerical control computer) milling, then creates an Apple notebook enclosure that can accommodate a keyboard, trackpad, ports, display and electronics overall procedure.

The result is robust and lightweight. The new aluminum MacBook weighs only 2.04 kilograms (4.5 pounds). This is a small computer Laptop is packed with so many features. It is even heavier than 1.36 kg, the wonderfully thin MacBook Air (3 pounds). These two laptops, in collaboration with the MacBook Pro, attracting the eye with their technical perfection and elegance.

The monocoque is a simple concept but an idea extremely difficult to implement. Therefore, the mobile manufacturers generally build their casings from separate rooms. These allow to error. The monohulls, however, must be accurate in all respects, if not, the internal components fails.

This for bold design is typical of Apple. Another example is the iMac computer from Apple that its technology is behind the 20 inches and 24 inches widescreen displays. The casing of the iMac is a single sheet of aluminum, except for a compartment on the bottom that provides access to memory cards. Ports, iSight camera, the microphone of the optical drive slot, and interior parts are all discreetly integrated. Together they provide a powerful computer which takes up much less space than any comparable PC.

The Mac mini is not as thin as Apple laptops and iMac, but it need not be thin to be stylish. Instead, it is a good example of how a computer can reduce quality congestion by being just 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) square and 5 cm (2 inches) high. The anodized aluminum housing, cover pearl white, corners bent and silent are the Mac mini an object desirable to have sat on a desk. It certainly compares well to the core of a standard desktop PC.

Apple iPods have a similar design philosophy. Aluminum, glass and polished stainless steel feature alongside subtle curves and carefully positioned controls. The design of the click wheel of the classic and nano even became a style icon in her own right under the scroll wheel and Touch Wheel of iPods generation earlier.

iPod design, such as laptops, is also on the weight or, to be exact, the lack thereof. The iPod nano is a mere 36.8 grams (1.3 ounces) Although the iPod shuffle with this beats as body feathers of 15.6 grams (0.55 ounces).

Ease of Use

Exterior design alone, however, has not kept Apple products at the forefront of multimedia technology. The hidden designs and compatibility of hardware and software in a Mac and the iPod have also contributed to achieving this goal.

This compatibility means that the user of an Apple product was an enjoyable and carefree. The design of Mac OS X, for example, provides a system fast operating logic and the Windows Vista eclipse in nearly all respects.

Ease of use extends software that comes with every Mac such as the Safari Web browser. Safari does not just find information quickly on the Internet – it has with past Web technologies, organizes your data and helps you to distinguish one element from another.

Safari's success as the world's best web browser, and other popular software such as Apple's iLife suite of applications is partly due to frequent revisions. Specialists Apple software design do not wait to have things happen: they are always looking for ways to develop and improve. Users Mac can be assured that their software is updated.

The same is true for the designers of the iPod. Recent design improvements includes Genius, which automatically creates a playlist of songs match, the accelerometer, which makes the games more fun to play and provides iPod nano with its shake shuffle feature, and 3D graphics for the iPod touch.

The iPod touch, of course, has a circulation Multi-Touch screen which is an important feature in itself. Apple also uses the concept of multi-touch on his laptop and he gave the MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air trackpads large and made of glass with more features than before. The result not only fun, these notebooks over to use – They look smoother too.

Concern for the environment

The third element of the approach of Apple design is the concern for the environment. The backlight LED screens do not contain mercury, internal cables have no PVC components are free of brominated flame retardants, toxic (brominated flame retardants).

Apple also promotes the qualities of recycled aluminum and arsenic-free glass that make a lot of Mac and iPod cases, and has reduced the packaging it uses.

These efforts are considerable, and growing all the time. Among the acknowledgments are coveted EPEAT granted star status of energy for the Mac, thanks their excellent energy efficiency and well-(electronic product environmental assessment tool) ratings gold for the MacBook and MacBook Pro Air.

These successes demonstrate that environmental concerns can play a major role in design concepts. No doubt other companies will follow the lead of Apple.

Innovation

Innovation has not appeared here as a concept because it is a principle separate. With Apple, innovation is fundamental to the existence of the business and strategy. Some manufacturers see innovation as an end in itself, but Apple treats it as an integral part of the design of everyday and development.

Customers can then take innovation for granted. It supports products that are great to look at, easy to use, and that respect the environment. In other words, they are brilliant designs.
